Digital Camera Binoculars & Scopes

Have you ever tried to take a picture at a concert or arena and found that, even with your top optical zoom in effect, you can’t zero in close enough? To make matters worse, when you employ the digital zoom and do focus in, the picture comes out blurry, and you lose the sense of action with the 2D iimage. For special applications where the zoom features on regular cameras are not adequate, a binocular digital camera may do the trick. Some of the latest technology, a binocular with built in digital camera properties can easily remedy the trouble of trying to get a clear picture at extreme distances.

A binocular camera has the capability to do several things. First of all, zoom capability is enhanced to equal that of a regular pair of binoculars, able to focus on objects at distances two to three times as far away as a typical camera. Also, some camera binocular models are equipped with dual lenses in order to produce a 3D image effect, much like the view through a set of binoculars. While scopes cannot produce the 3D effect, they can zero in at a distance just as a digital binocular camera can.

In common applications, such as sightseeing, birdwatching, and other hobbies that require focusing at a distance, one of the most inexpensive reliable models is the Magpix binocular digital camera. While the binocular and built in camera are only capable of capturing images in 3.1 megapixel resolution, this is relatively high considering the amazing 10x optical zoom capabilities with the telescopic lens.

The Pentax binocular digital camera is also reasonably priced and has excellent specifications. It comes highly recommended from several digital camera binocular reviews, with an 8x or 10x zoom capability (depending on the exact model). The only downside to this particular camera line is that the resolution is quite low, ranging between a mere 0.8 and a tolerable 2.0 megapixels. Per the typical consumer review, a digital camera binocular should at least have a resolution of 2.5 megapixels in order to do justice to the image captured at such an intense optical zoom.

In many circumstances, individuals will choose to stick with the more advanced technology afforded by typical digital cameras. However, as the digital camera binocular and scope continue to improve and become more reasonably adept, these items will be hot in the market, allowing for clearer pictorial images taken in concerts, professional sporting events, and other instances in which the distance is greater than the capabilities of a standard zoom lens camera allow.
